The Harderbahn mountain railway carries passengers hungry for good food and spectacular views from the valley station to Interlaken’s local mountain in just ten minutes. There they will find everything they need to satisfy their appetites, however large or small. And the views are simply breathtaking: down onto Interlaken with Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and across to the world-famous triumverate of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

On July 8, 2023, Hans Salvisberg ran up the Harder Kulm for the 1000th time.
In doing so, he overcame an incredible 750,000 meters of altitude.
We congratulate Hans Salvisberg on his outstanding achievement.

Mount cheese fondue
Whether plain, Eiger north face with bacon, onions and garlic or Moitié Moitié half Vacherin half Gruyère. You will experience a fondue of a special kind. Served with bread and small potatoes.

Harder Kulm is the perfect venue for meetings, seminars and events with a view like no other. The modern extension with space for 130 guests is equipped with the latest presentation technology and can be hired on an exclusive basis. A further room is available on the first floor of the Panorama Restaurant. This room has space for 35 guests. The Eiger Restaurant, on the ground floor, can seat up to 105 guests.
